Help Needed Urgently

Hello everyone,

Today I am reaching out for help to pay for a medical clinic here in France that specializes in anxiety, depression, addiction and readaptation into the norms of everyday life. This is a private clinic that was founded by a mother of an adolescent who was battling many mental and emotional difficulties, hence the name “Maison de Kate” or “Kate’s House”.

Many of you may have noticed in the past year and a half that I have been absent on social media and extremely unresponsive to messages on all platforms. Unfortunately, this is linked to my own battles with anxiety, depression and addiction. It has been so debilitating that it has kept me from working since December 2022, doing the job that I love as a speech therapist.

During the past year and a half, I have gone through an emotional divorce with my high school sweetheart, and I have suffered emotional, physical and psychological abuse by people I should have never trusted. This includes harassment, rape, beatings and demoralization. I am currently being treated by my general practitioner, a psychologist and an addiction specialist, and I am proud to say that I am 2 weeks and 1 day sober as of today All of these practitioners, based on the above experiences and how they have negatively impacted my life and health, have recommended that I be admitted to an intensive treatment program to help me find myself again.

This is an 8 week program that I will begin on April 9th. As it is a private clinic, there are fees that are not covered by the universal healthcare system in France. After my stay at Kate’s House, I will need to find a place to live, as I am currently homeless and constantly moving from one hotel/airbnb/friends’ home to another. Your contributions can help me to get back on my feet and get the care that I desperately need.

My goal in life has always been to help others, but I am aware that I cannot help others when I myself am unwell. I want to continue my passion, reconnect with my family and friends, truly recognize my own value, and live a happy and healthy life while continuing every day to work on myself even after the program is completed.

I am reaching out for financial help, as my savings have almost completely run out due to my inability to work and my need to contribute or pay for housing and nourishment.
