Rainbow4Kids school education fund

Rainbow4Kids is a non-profit organization and the name of our primary school in Ukunda, Kenya.

Many of the children in Ukunda come from families that live in extreme poverty. Most families cannot afford basic necessities, much less the ability to pay high fees to send their children to school. That’s why we started Rainbow4Kids elementary school in 2006.

Since then, we have enabled 450 children to have a good education and food twice daily. We provide everything for each child through personal funds and sponsorship. The school provides all books, writing materials and other educational equipment.

Due to rising food and other costs as a result of severe drought, among other reasons, we are searching for extra funds to continue to educate our children to the level we have achieved to date. The cost to sponsor a child is $132 for a year. Additional funds are needed for purchasing books, supplies, maintenance, etc.

These children's health, safety and education are our number one priority. We do not want to refuse children's admissions or reduce the food and equipment provided. Please help us with your donation to provide the standard of education that the children in Ukunda deserve to have.
