Donate to The Burns’ Family

The family of Rob and Jenny Burns have set up this fundraiser to help defray the costs of the tragic passing of their 13 month old son, Beau Brosius Burns. 

On Wednesday, June 15 our precious Beau, suffered a drowning accident. Beau’s dad performed CPR until Mckinney PD and FD arrived on scene. Beau was then transported to Medical Center of McKinney. Once stabilized, he was helicoptered to Children’s Dallas, where the family spent 7 days praying for the miracle that he would be healed. 

During the hardest days of their life, prayers from family, friends and strangers gave them strength to carry on. Sadly, at 6:45pm on Wednesday, June 22nd, Beau passed away in Jesus’s arms. Rob and Jenny are grateful God gave them 7 more days with Beau. It allowed for them to rekindle their faith, and to grow as a family. They are comforted knowing Beau is celebrating his day in Heaven. 

While they are devastated at the loss of their son, they find strength in knowing Beau’s saved 4 lives with his organ donations. He is a miracle and hero to the families who have been praying for their children to receive such a rare call.  

In addition to the incredible grief associated with such a tragic accident, Jenny and Rob and their 8 year old daughter, Emma are now faced with a daunting array of hospital bills and other costs that far exceed their resources. We are bonding together here to help them in any way possible. 

Update: As more medical expenses continue to come in, we will adjust the goal of funds for the Burns’ family.
