Help Generation SERVE After Major AmeriCorps Cuts
Tax deductible
Generation SERVE, the largest family volunteering 501(c)(3) non-profit in Central Texas, needs your help.
Due to federal cuts, we are losing over $68,500 in AmeriCorps funding this August, as we will no longer be able to renew contracts for three AmeriCorps positions, which are essential to our mission. These team members have been the lifeblood behind organizing projects, guiding families, and ensuring our youth and community continue to give back in meaningful ways.
We directly support over 100 local nonprofits each year across eight service areas, from preparing meals for our neighbors in shelters to cleaning animal rescues to keep our furry friends safe. Each month, we host 75+ service opportunities for youth and families, empowering the next generation of changemakers while meeting urgent needs in our community.
And we can’t stop now.
With over 20,000 families in our network, Generation SERVE has been the place for families to serve together, learn together, and grow together while supporting organizations across Central Texas. But the loss of AmeriCorps funding threatens our ability to continue providing the level of service our community relies on.
Your donation will help us:
✅ Sustain & grow our service programs during this funding gap.
✅ Continue offering over 75 opportunities each month.
✅ Ensure we can support over 100 nonprofits across Central Texas.
✅ Keep our youth engaged in meaningful service, leadership, and civic action.
If you’ve ever volunteered with us, seen your child learn about empathy while serving, or benefited from the work of local nonprofits, we ask you to stand with us now.
Every gift helps.
Your support will directly keep service opportunities available, helping us continue to help others when they need it most.
