The purpose of Burpees For Bucks is to raise awareness and funds for the underprivileged youth of our community. Each year at SUBU CrossFit, we commit to raising money for a local charity by doing burpees (a lot of them).

We call this fundraiser Burpees For Bucks and this year, for our 14th year, we have once again teamed up with the Foundation for Foster Children. The FFC’s mission is to create meaningful connections for children in foster care through personalized support. Founded in 2008, the FFC was formed to address the staggering and alarming statistics surrounding foster children in Central Florida. With our mission being to improve our community through fitness we feel as though our ideals align perfectly and we look forward to an impactful relationship benefitting the unfortunate youth of Orlando.

During Burpees for Bucks our members collect monetary donations by promising to do one burpee for every dollar they raise. All of the money raised goes directly to providing aid and assistance for youngsters experiencing homelessness and/or other hardships.

Please join us in making a difference. All monies raised will directly benefit the Foundation for Foster Children, and any donation will help make an impact. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to our SUBU Community.
