Hello, my name is Caitie and I have created this go fund me for my best friend Abigail and her cat Elmer. This week, Elmer was in a horrible accident and was hit by a car in the neighborhood. Due to this, Elmer is unfortunately having his hind leg amputated, and he has a broken hip. Between the cost of surgery, x-rays, medication, and 2 overnight vet stays this adds up to a tremendous amount of money and a huge vet bill. Along with these medical bills, Abigail will also need to buy supplies for Elmer as he heals and gets used to his new environment. He will have to re-gain balance and learn how to walk with 3 legs. If you know Elmer, you know he is the most awesome, chill, hilarious, sweet and adventurous cat. Abigail, his owner, is also one of the best people I have ever met.
