Donate to Marcel's Rescue and Medical Care

Hi everyone! As some of you may know, this is Marcel. Marcel has been roaming the streets of Kirksville for at least a couple of years now and has become a familiar face in the neighborhood. For a while now, Marcel’s favorite place to hang out has been right in front of the door to my apartment (probably because I’ve been feeding him a lot of good wet food!). From my many interactions with Marcel, I have seen from the start how sweet of a boy he is and how desperately he wants love and to have a home.

I took it upon myself to contact as many rescues as possible to see if they would take Marcel in. Luckily, a rescue called Felines and Canines has responded back to me letting me know they’ll take Marcel! This rescue is especially great since they specialize in taking care of more medically complex kitties (such as those with FIV). Prior to taking him to the rescue next weekend, I am planning on taking him to the vet to get some of the initial things out of the way (dewormer, vaccines, etc). Marcel also has signs of pretty bad dental issues (common in cats with FIV) and will require treatment for that as well, which unfortunately does not come cheap.

In order to lessen the financial load on the rescue, I was hoping to donate as much money as possible to help cover his medical bills. I would greatly appreciate any help with this!!
