- Hello, my name is Jason Eldridge, also known as Jay or Jay OnBass Eldrij on Facebook. I recently had a horrible accident when a ladder slid out from underneath me and I hit concrete from 12 feet up. I landed on my left side and ended up damaging most of my left contact points. Side of head, (slight concussion), bruised ribs and shoulder blade, left elbow & wrist contusions, and a fractured left hip. The ladder ended up landing on my right wrist snapping it sideways as I was trying to catch myself. When I got to the hospital they had to put me under and reset my wrist. The next day I had to have surgery on the same wrist. They had to put a plate and screws in my hand. So they took a bone graft out of my good hip for my wrist surgery so that my right wrist would heal correctly. I've never really broken a bone before. I've never really had this type of pain before. All I know is I'm going to need all the help that I can get because I'm not going to be up on my feet for a little while. So whatever you have that you can spare will be greatly appreciated. Every dollar counts. If you can do without that cup of Starbucks and send me that $5, it would mean making sure my dogs have food for the week. The funds raised will go towards household expenses for the time that I am down. Luckily I know that there are a lot of people out there that know I am worth that extra 5 or 10 dollars that they have laying around. I'm not very good at asking for help, but unfortunately I don't think I'll make it without YOUR help and support. Again, every dollar counts. Don't think that your 2 or 3 dollars won't matter.
