Rozalyn and Zaynab are raising funds to help a 19-year-old Palestinian and his 25-year-old brother evacuate Gaza. Currently, Gaza is under siege and our friends Sa'dat and Nehad are stuck in the middle area with their families. On February 21, 2024, an airstrike destroyed their home. His mother and 15-year-old brother were both injured. His mother is injured next to her eye and his brother has stitches down his back. They have to buy medicine and change wound dressings at the hospital every few days. We hope to raise enough money to ensure a safe passage to Egypt for Sa’dat and Nehad!
The funds raised will be used for the following purposes:
- To evacuate Sa'dat Abu Rahma and his brother Nehad Abu Rahma
- Meet Sa'dat and Nehad’s basic needs while awaiting evacuation. This will include food, water, medicine, medical needs, and other basic needs.
- Help Sa'dat and Nehad have a place to stay and food to eat upon evacuation into Egypt.
- Transportation from the border into Cairo.
The funds will be collected in a US bank account and then transferred to them via Western Union to meet their basic needs as well as their mother and brother’s medical needs. For evacuation purposes, we will be sending the money to a trusted source in Egypt who will use the funds to register Sa’dat and Nehad through a travel agency.

Hello Everyone! My name is Sa'dat and my brother is Nehad. We are from Nusierat. I'm reaching out from the heart of Gaza. We urgently need to leave considering it is no longer safe anywhere. Before I begin, I would like to thank all of you for taking the time to share and donate to my campaign.
Before the war me and my family lived a happy life, I worked as a barber and my brother was a contractor. My brother had plans to travel to Belgium but had to put his dreams on hold. Since this tragedy made us lose our jobs, Nehad had to sacrifice his savings to help support the family. After the airstrike on our beloved house, our material and physical conditions dramatically worsened. Our once beautiful home has no windows and its walls have crumbled and fallen.

We struggle to find food and other necessities as our area is difficult to supply. This is why we need your help! We need your support to help me and my brother start new lives. The current breakdown is approximate because none of these prices are fixed.
