Donate to Help My Dad Fight Prostate & Bone Cancer

On November 3, 2023, my dad, Mike Ginther, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Prostate Cancer, that had also metastasized into the bones in his legs. He had been visibly unwell in the months leading up to his diagnosis, but we suspect that he was sick for well over a year prior. He suffered from several seizure episodes over the last year, that led to hospital visits with no proper diagnosis. He experienced rapid weight loss beginning in March of last year. He went from roughly, 160 lbs. to 117 lbs. at the time of his diagnosis. My dad was also suffering from very severe pain in his legs, because of the cancer in his bones, which made it painful to walk without assistance.
If any of you know my mom and dad, you also know that they are two of the kindest, most loving, and positive human beings that have blessed this world with their presence. At the time of my dad’s diagnosis, he was given a best-case scenario, 2 to 3-year trajectory with treatment, but despite the severity of my dad’s diagnosis, he has remained in good spirits. He does not want to do chemotherapy or radiation, and his doctors have agreed on a new treatment plan. Unfortunately, my dad’s health insurance will only cover a very small portion of the cost.
By some miracle, my dad has been able to gain 26 lbs. since November, and his PSA levels have lowered, however, if he is unable to receive further treatment and medications, we don’t know what might happen. My dad is a fighter and he wants to continue to fight, but we need your help. All proceeds will go towards my dad’s medical bills and my parent’s basic needs.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and we greatly appreciate your support! ❤️
