Hola, mi nombre es Yoan M Marquez Tio soy un camionero de la ciudad de Miami en florida; Estaba manejando mi camión desde Alaska a Miami, dos horas después de cruzar la frontera de Alaska con Canada tuve un accidente en el camión el cual estuve 6 horas con mis piernas atoradas hasta que los rescatistas me rescataron, tube que volar desde el lugar del accidente en Canadá tres horas hasta el hospital más cercano, donde me operaron por primera ves tratando de salvarme mis piernas. Luego de la operación en Canada y estabilizarme lo mejor posible me volaron a suelo americano en Seattle, Washington, donde tuve 4 cirugías más, en la cuarta desafortunadamente los médicos me amputaron la pierna derecha por debajo de la rodilla, esa era la mejor y unica solución para mantenerme con vida ya que peligraba mi vida porque mis riñones estaban funcionando mal a un 40% debido a todo lo sucedido, para salvar mis riñones y mi vida esa fue la mejor decisión que los médicos vieron. Mientras que escribo esto estoy en Seattle bajo observación y a la espera de poder ser transferido al Jackson hospital de Miami. Los fondos seran para los gastos médicos de Canada y todos los demás gastos de hospitales de aquí mas que voy a tener una larga recuperación por delante. Muchas personas pueden pensar que el trabajo de un camionero es simple, pero tómenlo por experiencia propia no lo es. A Dios le pido que todos los camioneros se encuentren a salvo en la carretera y que siempre tengan un regreso a salvo a casa, Dios los bendiga a todos. Hello, my name is Yoan M Marquez Tio, and I am a truck driver from the city of Miami in Florida; I was driving my truck from Alaska to Miami. Two hours after crossing the Alaska-Canada border I had an accident with the truck in which I spent 6 hours trapped with my legs stuck until the rescue team was able to finally cut the truck to get me out safely. I was airlifted with a medical helicopter from the accident site in Canada three hours to the nearest hospital, where they operated on me for the first time trying to save my legs. After the surgery in Canada and when I was stable enough for transport, they flew me with a medical airplane to American soil in Seattle, Washington, where I had 4 more surgeries. In the fourth surgery, unfortunately, the doctors amputated my right leg below the knee. That was the best solution for me to stay alive since my life was in danger because my kidneys were malfunctioning at 40% due to everything that happened, to save my kidneys and my life that was the best decision that the doctors saw. As I write this I am in Seattle under observation and awaiting transfer to Jackson Hospital in Miami. The funds will be for medical expenses in Canada and all other hospital expenses here but I will have a long recovery ahead of me. Many people may think that the job of a truck driver is simple, but take it from personal experience it is not.
