Donate to Help Mark's Family Recover from Flood

Hi my name is Mark. My wife, Mary Anne, and I were flooded in Hurricane Helene on September 27, 2024. Our home in Fletcher, NC was totally destroyed by the floodwaters. In that home, we were raising our son, James, and our two grandchildren, Alex & Gabriel. Since the storm, the 5 of us have moved into a small camper as a temporary housing solution.

In the long term, we are planning to purchase a new modular home for the property, but that still might be six months to one year from now. Are most urgent fundraising need is funds to help clear our the contents of the home, and then have the destroyed home removed.

It's not easy for us to ask for help. But without flood insurance to help us finance the rebuild, we have no choice.
