Help Cass Recovery After Emergency Back Surgery

Dear friends and family,

I want to start by saying how fortunate I am to have Cass as my sister-in-law. She's incredibly hardworking, is great at snuggling, and has a fantasticsense of humor that brightens everyone's day.

Cass has been going through a tough time since the beginning of the year when she was initially diagnosed with a bulging disk. It took a while to get the necessary MRI, and when it finally happened, the results were shocking. The surgeon described it as the worst intrusion on the spinal column he had ever seen. Cass had to be hospitalized and undergo emergency surgery.

I'm relieved to say that Cass is now out of surgery and is expected to make a full recovery in the next 3-6 months. However, during this time, her ability to work will be severely limited. She won't be able to participate in ACL tapings, the Austin Marathon, or attend farmers markets for Sandcastle Seasonings.
