Hello, my name is Paul Becker and I am fundraising for my mom, Elda Robinson.

On the evening of November 1st my mom, a 75-year-old woman, was randomly attacked in an apparent carjacking while entering a Carry Out restaurant in Temple Hills, MD. This attack was both random and vicious; her assailant first punching her, then proceeding to stab her nine times including wounds to the face, neck, and left arm.

Thanks to the help of people going to the same restaurant who came to her aid, calling 911 and staying with her until help arrived, she was able to make it to the hospital in critical but stable condition. She underwent procedures to all of her wounds, including repairing what was left of her Adams Apple which was damaged in the attack.

While this situation has been traumatic, we feel blessed that she survived the attack and is now at home and on the road to recovery. This fundraiser is to help with medical expenses to help get her back on her feet as she recovers from her traumatic ordeal. We greatly appreciate any help that you are able to offer.
