My name is KRiS, and I am the proud Founder and Executive Director of the Germantown Arts District (GAD) located in the vibrant neighborhood of Germantown, Philadelphia. Today, I come to you with a heartfelt mission and an exciting opportunity to be a catalyst for change through creativity.

What We're Raising Funds For:

We are launching a crowdfunding campaign to support the GAD Festival, our flagship event dedicated to celebrating the transformative power of the arts. Science has been telling us for years that our creativity is a need we must prioritize meeting - so for the health and wellness of our community - let's have a day of creating!

Artists Stipends: We believe in compensating artists for their hard work and dedication. Your contributions will enable us to provide stipends to participating artists, ensuring that their talent is valued and respected.

Interactive Initiatives: The GAD Festival is more than just an arts festival; it's a catalyst for consistent engagement in creative ventures. We are aiming for 100% activation We need your support in acquiring supplies for our interactive activations. Your contributions will enable us to procure a wide range of materials—from canvases and paintbrushes to musical instruments and crafting supplies—that will fuel creativity, foster meaningful connections among festival participants and help extend the ability of our vendors, teaching artists, and facilitators.
