Support Christine Koniezhny's Journey with ALS
Donation protected
Our dear friend, Christine Koniezhny, dedicated Vice Principal for Academics and beloved French teacher at Friends School of Baltimore since 2008, was diagnosed with ALS last year. Despite this life-altering diagnosis, she has continued to work and live each day with her unmistakable and indisputable strength of character, passion for teaching, and positive outlook.
As ALS progresses, the costs of medical care, mobility aids, and daily support increase significantly. We are coming together as a community to support Christine in any way we can—whether it’s helping to cover medical expenses, providing access to specialized treatments, or ensuring she has the resources needed to maintain her quality of life.
Your generosity will also help Christine fulfill a deeply meaningful goal: to return to France, a place that has shaped her life and career, while she is able to fully experience and cherish it. Your support will allow our friend to maintain her independence in the ways that matter most to her, and bring her joy.
If you have ever been touched by Christine’s kindness, wisdom, steadfast friendship, warm humor, or dedication to her students, please consider donating. Any amount, big or small, will make a meaningful difference. Let’s hold Christine in the Light, and show her that she is not alone in this fight.
Merci du fond du cœur for your generosity and support.
