The gimme shelter project re-homes and rehabilitates unwanted and at risk farm and domestic animals. For the past seven years we added to our family of goats, pigs, sheep, donkeys, chickens, dogs, cats and turkeys.
Your tax deductible donation makes a significant impact on our ability to sustain and grow the rescue project
In 2018, we added 7 cats, 10 chickens and 2 roosters to the farm family. We also supported the placement of 2 pigs, 3 roosters and 2 donkeys. All were in distress but now have happy homes, thanks to your help. Hay, straw, feed, medicine, veterinary care and barn & fence maintenance costs add up quickly. The donors make a big difference in our capacity to ensure no animal is turned away. Finance & Operations Overview
This is truly a small non-profit and more than 50% is directly funded by me. This ensures that every penny you donate goes directly to care and feeding. There is no overhead! I do all the daily work. Straw: $ 1,600
Hay: $ 1,600
Shots/Meds $ 900
Vet: $ 2,100
