Hi, my name is Dylan Miller. My partner of nearly 5 years Julia tragically passed away suddenly on the 29th June 2025. Her family lived in Edwalton near Nottingham which has a very special connection to them and this is where she will be laid to rest with her grandparents and other members of the Perry family. This is what she would’ve wanted.

She lived with me for nearly 4 years in my family home in Derby and enjoyed regular walks with me in Markeaton Park, with my family but also my border collie Daisy. She loved going around the whole park in all weather with me, Christmas Day, early morning but also late night walks and this is where we were truly happy.

Because of this, I would love to raise money in order to get a bench commissioned in her name for me, friends and family and anyone that knew her to come and be with Julia but also think about all the happy times they had with her. The bench would be commissioned by Derby Parks, made from wood and bolted into a concrete base designed to last for years to come.

The donation fee is £2150 through Derby Parks and we would love to raise this through all those who knew and loved Julia.

Any further money raised will be donated to Brain Research UK, a chosen charity of the family.
