Donate for the Dokter's

As most of you know, my best friends, Hannah and Garrett Dokter received some life changing information last week.  Their six year old son Gentry was diagnosed with Hepatoblastoma, which is a  form of Liver Cancer, the cancer has metastasized to his lungs as well.

Gentry is expected to get to start his chemotherapy treatments at some point next week.  After his first nine week round of chemo, they will likely do surgery to remove the tumor from his liver, and then he will undergo another nine weeks of chemo.  While Gentry is undergoing treatments he won't be able to go to school, which unfortunately means Hannah is not going to be able to work during this time either.  Not only will they be down to one income, their medical insurance will be transitioning to Cobra, which means their rates will be going up tremendously.  

This family has a long road ahead of them! We want them to be able to focus on getting the care that their son needs and not have to be distracted by and worried about money.

A note from the Dokter Family:

We have a long road ahead but we are preparing ourselves to take this on. I can not say how we much we appreciate all the love and support we have received during this difficult time.
