Hello
My name is RJ and I am fundraising for my beloved family member, my cousin Bob, short for Ibrahim.
He has been diagnosed with severe Crohn’s Disease for 3 years and has undergone a serious surgery called an Anal Fistula Seton Replacement and is now in need of a medication called Stelara. While there is no cure, this medicine is a treatment option but it’s expensive in Lebanon but have found it for a discount price in Turkey. As he is Palestinian, he does not have access to free healthcare or health insurance in Lebanon.
Stelara is an injection. The first treatment has to be 3 doses and will then need a dose every 8 weeks.
The medicine costs $3000 for the first 3 doses immediately as requested by the doctor in one go and thereafter one dose every 8 weeks, which will cost $1,500.
This medicine will help treat his Crohn’s Disease.
The symptoms are:
-Blood in stool
-Abdominal pain and cramping
-Pain or drainage near or around the anus due to inflammation from a tunnel into the skin (fistula)
-Fever
-Fatigue
-Reduced appetite and weight loss
-Intestinal Inflammation
This diagnosis has left him physically, mentally and emotionally in pain and drained and has taken a toll on him severely.
Bob is a beloved cousins, bother and son and is studying and wants to graduate and get into the workforce to support himself.
Please donate and share. It will all be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
