Donate for birth kits for pregnant Ukrainian women

Hello, my name is Ania and I'm a family and birth photographer located in Berkeley CA (https://www.aniazimnochphotography.com). I teamed up with a friend and a fellow birth photographer in Poland, Anna Wibig to raise money for birth kits for Ukrainian women, who, since the war started, have been forced to give birth in shelters and basements, often without any assistance.

 

The association of Polish midwives Stowarzyszenie Dobrze Urodzeni has started to prepare those birth kits with instructions in Ukrainian on how to assist in birth for non-medical personnel. The action is coordinated with the Ukrainian Embassy in Warsaw. There is a need for at least 1500 kits. Almost 160 were prepared and sent to Ukraine as of now.

 

As a mother and a birth photographer, my heart bleeds when I see the news from the war, and I cannot imagine what these women are going through.
