In memory of Georgina

Hi, my name is Dave and I am fundraising for my Sister and her family...

 

Georgina O'Donovan (G) recently passed on 09/04/2022. G who was just 30 years old, was a wonderful Friend, Sister, Daughter, Fiancé, and most importantly Mother, who touched the lives of those around her in so many different ways. She leaves behind 11 month old Joey Garwood, and fiancé Tom Garwood as well as her close family including Mother Joanne, and Brother Andy.

 

Georgina dedicated her life to her family and friends and was always the heartbeat of every social group she entered. She impacted many people's lives with her smile, warm-heartedness and strength.

 

After Georgina's passing I found a note in her phone with no title, I don't think she would mind if I shared this now...

 

"Let's start from the beginning, the most exciting time of my life... seeing that line and finally I get to be 'that' person! I'm pregnant... IT'S MY TIME! I've waited forever for the right person to come along and finally I get to be mummy."

 

We are all devastated by G's passing and were not prepared for the high costs involved. We want to give G the end-of-life services she deserves, to honour her memory and say our last goodbyes.

 

I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of G’s funeral. We need to raise £1500 by 12/05/2022 in order to be able to cover the cost of her end-of-life services.

Please be aware that if we manage to raise more than is required we will donate to Christies hospital in Manchester who do fantastic charitable work for patients and their loved ones. G's care under Christies was the best anyone could have hoped for and we would like to make a special mention to Ward 4 Staff, Nurses and Doctors who managed her care throughout her incredibly difficult fight with ovarian cancer.
