Donae and baby Christopher

On the night of December 11th Donae and her sweet little boy Christopher were on highway 290 in Ponderosa when the unthinkable happened. Donae and Christopher were in a horrific car accident.  Donnie Parrett, Donae’s dad was first on scene, could not even imagine how aweful that must of been seeing your child and grand baby . Soon first responders and paramedics were on scene and determined injuries were very critical. Both mom and baby were life flighted to UNMH TRAUMA where both were put in ICU. After determining injuries of baby it was determined that baby Christopher, for the best treatment would be flown to Denver due to his injuries. At this point in time Christopher and Donae are separated and dealing with multiple injuries and in critical condition. The following are injuries : Donae is suffering from a compound broken femur which she has undergone surgery for. Multiple broken bones ( Drs are treating most critical now, possibly more that have not even been addressed yet,) collapsed lung tubes in place. A very injured right eye. Broken back in C area and multiple, multiple other injuries. Christopher is suffering from collapsed lung tubes in place, a displaced humerus, broken back broken clavicle and both Donae and Christopher have broken ribs. There is also multiple other injuries to baby ,just want to give you a glimpse in what the family is dealing with. With that being said you can see why we want to raise money for this family, grandma Rose and Dad Christopher along with Christopher grandparents are in Denver. There will be lots of traveling back and forth and the recovery time will be slow and long.  PLEASE PLEASE help this family out with whatever you can afford. I know the holidays are upon us so let’s show this family the gift of giving to help get them thru this very tragic time.
