Heaven has its fair share of people with a golden soul - please help keep one on Earth.
A month ago, my mother was admitted to hospital, diagnosed and treated for an ischemic stroke. Little did we know that wasn't the case. Fate had something much viler in store. When her symptoms reappeared, we rushed at another hospital where, after a few days and a cerebral MRI showed multiple metastases. We followed up with a full CT scan and the results were soul-crushing for her, for me and for everyone's life she touched - lung cancer. It's a horrific disease but with help, it can be beaten.
We cannot let her go after she fought 32years for us with sweat and blood to raise me and my sister through every challenge life threw at her.
The situation brought us to our knees praying for divine intervention and for any help we can get to fight off cancer. You, the decent person who knows that if there's a bond that cannot be broken it's the bond between a mother and her children.
We have checked with oncologists and there are treatments to make her well. The treatment will cost around £20,000 and for us, that is huge, but as my sister said, we need to reach 4000 people that give £5 or 1000 that give £20 and we have a shot at beating this cancer and making her well again.
The cancer is spreading aggressively and it is heartbreaking that the love for our guardian angel and her wellbeing now hinges on getting the money in time.
