Don & Jan Maxwell - House Fire

Our longtime friends in the Aviation and Mooney Pilot communities had a tragic event happen to them yesterday. 
Don & Jan Maxwell of Don Maxwell Aviation Services in
Longview Texas lost their home to a fire yesterday.  Physically, they and their animals are safe and their three dogs were taken to a local vet for treatment. 

To many of us Don & Jan as well as their children and staff are like family to us.

They are always available to lend a hand or provide assistance whenever called upon and they have always been so helpful and supportive in sharing their time and expertise to the Mooney community and to pilots that come to them for service
from throughout the world.  

It is my hope in starting this Go Fund Me that we, as a pilot community can give back to them in their time of need. 

Now is that opportunity.

Don & Jan do not know that I am organizing this fund raiser.
I am certain that they would never ask for themselves as they put others needs before theirs at every opportunity.  It's quite possible that they will use some or all of the funds to help out a charity close to their hearts. 

If possible, would you consider donating any amount so that they can begin to get the needed items that will help them move forward from this loss. 
I understand that they are in need of clothes, daily necessities, and other items that will help them as they navigate this situation.

Thank God that no one was physically injured or killed. 

Please give what you can. 

I am certain that it will be most appreciated by their family.
