Dominik's National Youth Leadership Forum Fund

Hi, my name is Jullian Pree. I'm raising money for my son, Dominik, for tuition to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF);Pathways to STEM, An Envision by WorldStrides. The program will be held at UC Berkeley, in Berkeley, CA during the summer 2021 for 6 days and 5 nights.
Dominik was nominated by his 5th grade teacher to represent his school because his teacher recognizes Dominik's maturity, scholastic merit and leadership potential even at his young age. He was invited to the event because he is an intelligent, bright and gifted young student.
This last year at the age of 9, Dominik came in first place at the regional spelling bee for our school district. He was in competition with other 4th, 5th and 6th graders from the 4 schools in our district. Dominik came in 5th place at the county spelling bee. He was the youngest student to ever reach such a level. He has always been the top student in his class. He is an avid reader and has received numerous awards in math, reading and science.
The NYLF:Pathways to STEM program provides these specially selected students with a creative, nurturing environment in which to understand and practice the skills of effective leadership and gain greater self-awareness and empathy, as well as delve into the world of medicine, discover how to program a robot and learn about detective work like crime scene investigation to solve crime cases.
Dominik is so excited about this opportunity and looking forward to next summer to advance his educational career.

We have reached our goal of raising $2500 for Dominik to attend the NYLF in Berkley! I am very grateful for all the donations, support of the fund, and the wonderful comments you all shared with us. To all my donors, I'm so appreciative for the money you are sending for my fund. Thank you! I will not let this money go to waste. I will do my best! This is a one-in-a-million chance for me. I'm going to Berkeley University to learn science, robotics and other fun projects! I'll write a journal about my progression as a student at Berkeley! I'll be going in August, so wish me luck!
