On August 10, 2014, Becky Dix embarked on a motorcycle adventure with one of her friends through the scenic roads of Vermont. A driver in an oncoming vehicle allowed one motorcyclist to pass before trying to turn left into a residence. The driver did not see Becky and struck her as the vehicle started making the turn. Becky was thrown from her motorcycle and landed severely injured quite a distance from the bike. The injuries sustained were so serious that Becky had to be airlifted to a New Hampshire hospital where she has since been stabilized. A word that has been used to describe Becky throughout ordeal is STRONG. She survived a horrific motorcycle accident and has maintained such an overpowering morale in the midst of this devastation. A guest from her hospital room stated that as they wheeled her out for surgery, she suggested that her visitors "hang in there!" while she was away. Only a person with true inner strength could offer encouragement to their support team when it is their time of need. These next few months will be critical for Becky's recovery. This fund has been created to benefit Becky in these times ahead of her and to lessen the blow of mounting bills and financial burdens. Becky has touched the lives of all people she has come in contact with. She brings smiles to all that know her. To thank her for that positive energy she possesses, please consider donating to this fund!
