Doing things by halves - Thomas & Leukaemia UK

So this Christmas I don't want to do things by halves... Or maybe I do.
My 3 Yr old nephew Thomas has recently been diagnosed with leukaemia called acute lymphomblastic leukaemia. He will have chemo and medicine etc for around 3 years, the big batches of chemo in the next few months and all the side effects that come with that including hair loss. He'll have bone marrow checks and lumber puncture checks every week so he will need lots of surgery and it will be a long road to recovery.

All this comes at a significant emotional and financial cost to the family. They have a 140 mile round trip from Cleethorpes to Sheffield hospital a few times a week, including petrol and parking costs. This is where I want to help to try and raise some money for their cause and the wider leukaemia cause.

Starting today for the next month I want to achieve 3 'halves". I plan to walk half a million steps (500,000), lose at least half a stone and would like to raise half a grand (£500) for the cause. Anything I raise will be shared half and half by Leukemia UK and money to cover these exceptional travel expenses. Once I've achieved my first 2 goals, distance and weight, please donate a small amount if you're able to help me achieve goal number 3
