Dog Tags- Restaurant & Taproom needs your help!!!

Hi, my name is James Wampler; I’m the owner/operator of Dog Tags - Restaurant & Taproom. I am active-duty Army and have been in service for 19 years. My wife and I opened Dog Tags - Restaurant & Taproom in April 2020. As you could probably guess, that was a difficult time to be opening a restaurant. However, we have been able to push through due to the overwhelming support we have recieved from the Tyler community.

Dog Tags - Restaurant & Taproom is a veteran themed restaurant that enjoys giving back to the community in any way possible, such as hosting charity events and collection drives benefitting in-need locals, children, and veterans.

Recently, Dog Tags - Restaurant & Taproom was closed due to rent, landlord and property issues. We are forced to relocate to a new location. This will be a costly expense. 

Through the many hardships we have faced, being able to help our community and those in need has made opening our restaurant a worth while investment that we would like to continue for many years to come.

With that, we are humbly asking the Tyler community, and anyone else who would like to help, to not only aid us in reopening our doors, but to aid in our support of the local charities and veterans of East Texas that we regularly host. We would love to be able to continue giving back to our community by allowing them space to have their events, and by hosting our own events/drives in their honor.

We would be grateful for any and all assistance in remedying the current situation - either financially or legally - so that we may continue to serve, grow, and be a beneficial asset to our Tyler, East Texas, and military communities.
