Dog stabbed in critical condition

Hello, my name is Kayla. I have set up this for the family involved in a tragic situation earlier today 5/2/23. I was honored to be her foster mom several weeks before she was adopted from YWAC. Here is the story. It happened in Loudon co. when the son of a family stabbed the family dog an excessive amount of times over jealousy. Selah, the bright young baby, already suffered from lock jaw and was also blind. So, unfortunately she also could not defend herself as other dogs would be able to. She is currently in critical condition at the emergency animal hospital in Knoxville. The hospital is telling the family her estimated vet bill is going to be 10k. Obviously, they did not expect something so ridiculous to happen and just want her to be okay. They do not have 10k lying around so they are asking if anyone is able to help at all please donate here or directly to the hospital.
