Family and dog rescued from flooded home in TN
Jacki just sold her business and long term home in Riverside, CA and moved cross country. The home was not listed as being in a flood zone and only her home was impacted. Because they were not in a flood zone they did not have flood insurance. They had to be rafted out the home with their dog in the middle of the night. It took 8 minutes to go from bone dry to 4ft of water in a non flood zone! They need clothes, a new place to stay (that accepts dogs), a way to fix or replace cars that were impacted by 4ft of water. They could also use assistance in getting items out of the house and cleaning up the mud. Every little bit helps and if you have a place that accepts dog where the could rent until things are addressed that would also be awesome.
