Dodgers Abdominal Surgery

On Sunday Jan 3 our sweet boy started vomiting and becoming sluggish. This behavior continued and worsened over the next couple days. He’s not interested in eating and hasn’t ate but a couple bites of chicken breast since Sunday afternoon. We’re lucky that he is keeping liquids down ( water and chicken broth). He was taken to the Alexandria Animal vet yesterday 1/6/21 and had some X-rays taken of his abdomen. They currently believe he has a soft foreign body (rope/cloth) that is causing a blockage. We are unsure when he last had a bowel movement which is causing us to worry about his colon rupturing. The veterinarian is wanting to proceed with an abdominal exploratory surgery. We have been informed it can cost us anywhere from $1,600-$2,500. Brandon nor i have the kind of Funds to get our Dodger Roo the care he’s needing currently. We have applied for care credit to assist with his bill and unfortunately due to my horrible credit we were denied. As of now we are monitoring him at home until we can financially support our 4th kiddo.
