Documental - La Tehuana

As an artist, there comes a small moment in life when you know what you have to do, where you know how to do it and you know why you have to do it, that moment is this.
I have been traveling for many years through the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, knowing its uses and customs, and I have realized that there is no documentation that shows the majesty of the Tehuana culture, the importance that the people of Santo Domingo Tehuantepec have. puts in the respect and care of its uses and customs.
Creating the documentary "Tehuana", will be of great help to make known the value and origin of the world of Tehuana, dispel myths and show realities.
The support of all of you is fundamental in this project, because I´m not linked to any public or private institution that finances the same, the resources will be used to move for four weeks to the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, to record and search in every corner the history of Tehuana I will be the one who produces, film and edits the documentary.
The documentary I want to start in mid July to have ready the final result so can compete in the SXSW International Film Festival.
Only with your help can I carry out "La Tehuana"

Como artista, llega un pequeño momento en la vida en que sabes lo que tienes que hacer, en que sabes como hacerlo y sabes por que tienes que hacerlo, ese momento es este.
Han sido muchos años viajando por el Istmo de Tehuantepec, conociendo sus usos y costumbres, sus verdaderos usos y costumbres, y me he dado cuenta que no existe documentación que muestre la magestuosidad de la cultura Tehuana, la importancia que el pueblo de Santo Domingo Tehuantepec pone en el respeto y cuidado de sus usos y costumbres, de su vestir.
Crear el documental "Tehuana", será de gran ayuda para dar a conocer el valor y origen del mundo de la Tehuana, desmentir mitos y mostrar realidades.
El apoyo de todos ustedes es fundamental en este proyecto, pues no estoy ligado a ninguna institucióin pública o privada que financie el mismo, los recursos serán usados para trasladarme por cuatro semanas al istmo de Tehuantepec, para grabar y buscar en cada rincón la historia de la Tehuana. Seré yo solo quien produzca, grabe y edite el documental.
El documental lo quiero comenzar a mediados de Julio para poder tener listo el resultado final para que pueda competir en el festival Internacional de Cine de SXSW.
