Help Dr. Smith Do Mission Work in Uganda

HEADED TO UGANDA!

As many of you know I've made it my priority since my wife's promotion to lead with "yes" to whatever the Lord has offered for me in ministry. Imagine my surprise and delight when I was given the opportunity to come to Uganda, Africa and speak in just a couple of weeks! I was invited by a local pastor and his wife David & Suzanne Musooli to come and participate in their thriving ministry.


Some of the costs have already been donated, but I need your help in paying for my airfare and hotel.  Since I leave May 18, there's very little time and your sacrifice is greatly appreciated.

While in Uganda I will:

•  Speak at a pastor's meeting in the city of Kampala for up to 60 or more on Saturday morning, May 2. Doing a seminar for pastors who rarely get the opportunity for additional training. 

• Speak at a local church, doing a Growing Missional Leaders Seminar Friday night, May 24,  Saturday night, May 25, and Sunday night, May 26, and preaching on Sunday in Worship.

• Speak at another local church, doing a Growing Missional Leaders Seminar on Wednesday night, May 29 and Thursday night, May 30.

•  Speak to the staff at Teen Challenge Uganda

• Speak at a ministry to campus and off-campus young adults

• Strategizing with another key leader in Eastern Uganda

And this is just with a few days of planning - even more venues are being added.

If you saw the things God did through our ministry trip to India, you know that this is an amazing opportunity to spread the love of Jesus to another country in desperate need.
