Hello I am Decosa Hobson the mother of a beautiful daughter by the name of Doajaon Webster (cookie) who is now nearing end of life, due to her being born with Chronic Renal Deficiency (Kidney Failure)and lack of oxygen to the brain. She was also born Cognitively delayed later needing a Shunt in her head, due to bleeding on the brain. Tho she's 14 years old cognitively she's 5 years old. Over this last year, she has been thorugh a lot and have had a couple surgeries. Within that time we have incurred many expenses to help her stay at home for her last quality of life, we are asking for your help with financial support to cover these costs along with funeral expenses. We are hoping to reach at least a goal of $10,000-$15,000, as we know funeral cost can be very expensive. We are hoping to raise the money as soon as possible, because we don't know how long we have.
Through it all Doaj has been very strong over the 14 years, she was a very vibrant energetic child who loved school, music, dancing, swinging, and playing basketball. For those of you that knew her knew she also loved to talk. And I believe it was because that was something we thought she would never do. She was really looking forward to her birthday Party on December 23, something she had every year at school on the last day before Christmas break, but now she may have to spend it with her creator/father in heaven.
Doaj attended Grantosa Elementary K-3 thru 8th grade and had many friends there, they all knew her as cookie. She was currently enrolled in Washington High School for her 9th grade. Which was a big transition for her.
Doaj is currently surrounded with family and friends in the comfort of her home and we are asking that anyone wanting to see her and spend time with her please come and do so. We can never have enough prayers so we are asking for those as well.
As her mother I am in charge of all arrangements and final expenses. I greatly appreciate any and everything everyone contributes to Doaj.
