Daddy needs your help!!

I'm starting this GoFundMe for my grandpa, Norman Dibble, also known as Daddy Dibble. As many of you know, Daddy has had 7 heart attacks in the last few years, resulting in the placement of a pace maker/defibrulator. His heart problems have made it impossible to work so he's on a fixed diability payment as his only income. Just over a month ago, Daddy was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer that has spread to his lungs, lymph nodes, and bones. He is undergoing treatment for this, which includes rigorous testosterone blocking treatments and monthly chemo to start.
After all of this, life has decided to kick him while he's down. The city of Minneapolis has given notice that he has until September 10th to do repairs on his house which has fallen into some direpair over the last few years. These repairs include painting the exterior trim, replacing broken wood windows, replacing wood siding, and redoing the roof. Most of these repairs are expensive, but doable. The issue it the roof. The entire roof needs to be replaced as it has been leaking and started rotting the main roof structure. Even the main joist in the house is sagging and would need to be replaced.
I have started this donation site because Grandpa needs some help. He has been part of many people's lives and fest family to so many. He is a very proud man and would not ask for this help on his own, so I'm doing it for him. He needs a safe place to live but can't afford it. Also, if the repairs are not done, the city will start adding fines that can result in jail time if not paid. The family is trying to file for an extension but has had no luck as of yet.
All money collected will be going primarily towards the entire roof replacement needed. The estimate on material cost is $10,000. I'm hoping we can raise enough to hire someone to do it.
Please, if you can help out one of the sweetest, most loving men I know, please do. If you don't know Daddy personally, know that he is an amazing man who has touched the lives of many with his infectious laugh and conversations that last all night.
As of right now, we don't have much to offer as rewards except hugs and love from our family. I will work on something and add it as we can.
