Operation: Storm

Last Wednesday our cat, Storm, went missing and reappeared on Friday morning with his stomach basically ripped open.
We think he got caught on barbed wire and slowly made his way home. He has a huge wound which had been stitched up and he has a drain from his bladder. We had no idea if he was going to make it and the vet asked if we wanted him put down but we obviously wanted to give him and chance.

We are absolutely devastated he's such a lovely cuddly happy kitty usually. He will let anyone pick him up for a cuddle and can usually be found sleeping in the sun.  He's also a very special kitty as he is a polydactyl which means he has thumbs!  Pretty  much the coolest cat around!

What has happened to him is horrendous but to make matters worse it has cost over £1200 so far. And the vet wouldn't do anything for him until a deposit was got which took us a few hours. He needs more check ups  and  he not insured at the moment but it is something we are looking into.

I only work part time and get some benefits
And initially was asking for advice on cat charities but a few people suggested we try crowdfunding.
So if you could donate anything it would be greatly appreciated.
