Help Gaby Fight Cancer

Four weeks ago, our mom was diagnosed with advanced metastatic stomach cancer. She is a beloved mother, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend. This event has changed our family's life forever, and it's not something we ever thought could happen to us, but here we are.

My sister (Daniela) and I are starting this GoFundMe to raise funds to help cover bills, medical costs, and ongoing day-to-day costs since mom isn't able to work as much anymore. Our mom is an active member of the Lafayette community and has owned a small tailoring shop in town (Gaby Couture) for ten years. Gaby is a hardworking south American immigrant business owner who loves what she does.

With her treatments, she won't be able to work every day, and we want her to focus on her health as much as she can. Our small family is banding together to help with as much as we can. But, most of our family is abroad, and costs continue to add up, so we're leaning on our friends and nearby community to help our family through this. She is in great spirits and a strong lady, continuing to come into her shop as many days as possible.
