IVF treatment

Hi everyone, my name is Joanna and I’m in a really difficult situation. I’ll be honest, it’s been an incredibly difficult, emotional and devastating journey so far in terms of motherhood.

I had my beautiful son 4 years ago. His name is Jackson. My proudest accomplishment. But, without warning, he was cruelly taken from me, passing away at 3 months old. I was a single mother at the time. Later, I fell pregnant again, just a year after his loss. I was suffering with Depression and PTSD and sadly my partner at the time convinced me it was the wrong time, but promised a family. So, the pregnancy did not continue, and instead the relationship ended due to his hidden affair throughout that time.

Later, after meeting the most wonderful partner, we were fortunate to fall pregnant about 6 months ago. Sadly, this was lost due to miscarriage.

That brings us to now. Having received the news from a fertility consultation, my situation has drastically changed and have been told that IVF is needed and that is has to be done very soon. I am 38 years old, this is my final opportunity to be a mother again, and to have a family.

Financially, we are struggling to meet the cost of the treatment which is due to begin in 3 months time (July). If anyone at all is able to, and can find it in their hearts to spare anything to help, any funds we manage to raise will be put towards this opportunity. It truly is our last resort to reach out for help, and under challenging financially times for everyone, we want to say thank you and that we appreciate your kindness so very much.
