Get Well Tommy

This fundraiser is being set up by friends and family of Lieutenant Thomas Bohn to help offset the costs of home renovations that will be necessary for Tom's ability to eventually come home and continue to aid in his recovery.

As most of you are aware Tom was involved in a Motorcycle accident that occurred on June 4th 2014 while on his way home from attending Medal Day with the FDNY. The accident has left him in a semi conscious state and unable to walk or talk. He is currently at Helen Hayes rehabilitation center.

We are welcoming any donations in hopes of taking some the financial burden off of his family and are embracing all prayers and well wishes for his recovery.

For more than 31 years Tom has served as a member of the FDNY.  He is a an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.  Throughout his career he has saved thousands of lives.  After 45 days at Helen Hayes his health insurance has run out. Therefore preparations are being made for his return home which will require several home modifications and instillation of adaptive equipment to enable this transition.
