Re-cover and Begin Again

My journey in the world of business has taken many turns. I've described some of these on my web site at Kendrickbiz.com. The last major turn, last November, was by far the most devastating. I was fired from my job only two weeks before I was vested in the company's pension plan. I wasn't a corporate guy and that is what they were looking for. Too bad for me. Since then, my wife and I have reached the end of our savings, and with no retirement now and no insurance, we have reached a place of true faith and hope about our future and our community of friends.
Update!
Since I wrote that beginning paragraph last month things have drastically improved, primarily due to the generosity of my friends! We have received many blessings in addition to the financial contributions, and my business is taking off, as I knew it would. It just goes to show what faith can do, and to have the willingness to take a step that seems frightening and way out of character!
I am getting my professional tax and consulting practice back on its feet. Re-licensing is only days away. (I have undergone a tour de force of continuing education study (100 hours to be exact) to bring my CPA license out of retirement). I'm learning things I never thought I would about selling and operating in the digital age! I'm even doing editing work for an online help guide. The best news of all so far, is that I have gotten a part time teaching appointment at Life University here in Marietta that will begin in October! All of this is related- your kindness has given me the confidence to press ahead and keep moving.
Working capital for the business will always be a concern until enough time passes to build a solid client base. That day will come. Until that time, I will just leave this right here. I still need to reach my goal, but time will take care of that.
As I said before, to all who have made reaching half this goal possible, I can not thank you enough! I hope that I will be able to return the favor and the faith to you in the future.
