Mike Savell's Medical Expenses

45 year old Mike Savell suffered a brain stem stroke on September 6, 2017. Once Mike was admitted to LCMH for treatment of the stroke they then diagnosed him with a rare disease known as Wallenberg Syndrome. The brain stem stroke has left Mike with some neurological deficits as well as severe vision issues. His balance and gait have been greatly affected. The doctors here in Lake Charles will be transferring him to the TIRR Facility in Houston Texas for in patient rehabilitation . The doctors anticipate he may be there 3 to 4 months for therapy. Even with insurance coverage for some of the medical expenses, there will be huge expenses his family will face in the coming months with travel, missed work, eating, lodging and gas.
