Kidney Transplant Expenses

Carol Marlborough is a wife, mother of two, grandmother of five, a sister, and a friend to many. Her passion is cooking and spending time with her family. She is an amazing cook! She loves to travel and stay busy. She is always willing to give a helping hand and has spent time volunteering at her grandchildren's schools and local hospital over the past years.

Carol was diagnosed with kidney disease ten years ago. The disease was stable until November of 2016, in which she now needs dialysis treatments three times per week in order to survive.

A little over a year ago, God sent an angel to answer our prayers. On March 20, 2018, Carol will be receiving her kidney transplant at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

With the kidney transplant comes many medical expenses and medications (that are not covered by health insurance) that Carol will have to take daily for the rest of her life. Traveling back and forth to Boston is another expense that Carol will have to pay for. Carol and her husband live on a fixed income, so paying for the expenses will be a challenge. We would greatly appreciate anything you can provide to help Carol through this tough time, that will eventually allow to live a happier and healthier life. Thank you and God Bless.
