Pepper’s surgery fund

Pepper is a 7 month old kitty. We adopted her and her brother in June. From the beginning, her brother had serious health issues and eventually needed life saving surgery. We couldn’t just give him back to the shelter because he would be euthanized and our kids would be devastated, so we decided to pay for his expensive  surgery. It’s was definitely not in our budget, but we felt like he was a part of our family.

Just recently we had to say goodbye to our dog. She was around 18-19 years old (she was also adopted) Again, it was a horrible time for our family. Less than a month later our kittens were outside and an adult cat came to our backyard and attacked Pepper right on our patio. She now has a fractured femoral head.  At this time we just can’t afford to pay for the surgery;  just diagnosing her was expensive.  It’s so hard for me to ask for help,  but I just don’t have a choice. We are working with Dr. Waterman (805Vet), and she is so wonderful with Pepper; she found a surgeon in Carpinteria who can perform the needed surgery.

I understand it is a very difficult time right now, but if you can help, it with be greatly appreciated! Pepper is the sweetest charcoal Manx kitten and we want her to walk again. If for some reason this post raises more than surgical costs, we will forward the funds to CareForPaws. Thank you!
