dj MOM aka Cucumber - Theft reboot
Hello, my name is Adrian and I live in Portland, OR. I'm a father, dj, maker of music, and work and volunteer year round at and for events as well as hold a board member role for a local non-profit organization.
I woke up on July 3rd, 2017 to find that while my son and I were sleeping, some folks broke into our house and stole a lot of things. Some of my son's things were taken. Thankfully he has a supportive family taking care of him. A majority of my things were music related.
With encouragement of friends and community members I have started this campaign to try and replace the gear I need to keep things going. I did file a police report so maybe things will turn up, but it's kind of urgent this time of year and kind of a long shot.
A lot of my music gear was older and/or discontinued but was obviously working. The biggest hit was the intellectual property of my orignal music as well as my dj tunes. The other significant hits were related to event worker bee gear.
I have dj gigs lined up through September and am already digging for music and replacing as much as I can for those sets. A lot of people have been reaching out to lend me gear to use in the mean time to both build up music as well as perform.

This all totals $2,820. Gofundme takes 5% of donations received even if I just meet this. "Yikes," I say.
If for some reason I really exceed this goal I'll make sure any other missing gear is taken care of as well as make sure my son is good. Anything donations in excess of that and/or any missing property that is later found and recovered will be donated amongst two local non-profit organizations in Portland, OR.
