As a company that strives to keep pets healthy, our hearts go out to the people and animals who were impacted by the devastating natural disaster in Texas. That’s why we’ve started a GoFundMe page and donated $2,000 towards the American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF).
AVMF provides disaster reimbursement grants for animal victims of disasters. They assist veterinarians in the costs associated with the treatment of these animals displaced and requiring medical care due to a disaster like Hurricane Harvey.
The images coming out of Texas and the entire Gulf Coast are absolutely heartbreaking. Sadly, what we have seen so far is likely just the beginning. We feel an obligation to help the pets that were impacted by this catastrophic storm and believe that the AVMF is the right organization to provide care to these most vulnerable members of our society. We encourage others to give as well.
