Disabled Veteran Austin McGlaun and his Peg Leg

Disabled Veteran Austin McGlaun sustained several IED-blast injuries while deployed in Iraq with the 101st Airborne Division. Unfortunately, the combination of neuropathy, bone deformation, soft tissue trauma, and blood supply damage have culminated in repeated infections and sepsis that necessitated amputation below the knee of his right leg on 12/10/2021.

This GoFundMe has been created to support Austin's family as their lives are forever changed. Austin and his wife bought a new home in November 2021 with mobility in mind, but they had no idea then that he would lose his leg before the boxes were all unpacked. The home is going to need several modifications that the VA does not cover.
