Hi everyone thanks for reading!
The Disability England Darts Association has exciting news we are going to the World Cup of Darts which is being hosted by Scotland in 2021. DEDA has members and players with an array of both physical and mental disabilities, where we are all together as one happy darting family. The teams have been chosen and, quite rightly, everyone is extremely excited that they have been given this fantastic news. This is where the fundraiser comes into it. As I am sure you are aware many of these players have to rely totally on PIP payment/benefits to travel to qualifying events, buy their own equipment as well as to be left enough to get by daily.
I have started this GoFundMe page to try to take an enormous amount of financial pressure off the selected team members and raise as near to £1000 as possible to pay for players shirts for these amazing gents and ladies and also England Caps for team members. Any funds remaining after these purchases will be utilised and accounted for within DEDA. If we don't reach this goal any monies raised will still go towards these items.
