Hurricane Relief for Skyview School
Donation protected
From Megan Turner, 4th Grade Teacher
Skyview Elementary is a low income elementary school in Pinellas Park, FL. School is a safe place where they can receive two hot meals a day, sometimes never eating again until they enter school the next morning.
During Hurricane Irma, a section on the 4th grade building roof was blown off due to the high winds. Three of the classrooms began to flood, losing everything. Materials, laptops, books and everything the students had was gone.
Our Eagles have had trauma in their own lives at home, and now also at their school. As teachers we are trying to take the stress of Irma away for them and help rebuild as much as we can.
We must ask for help, and for a teacher that is hard. We spend our life helping others, not asking for help, but these are our kids. We love them like our own and we need your help.
While we have wonderful supply donations from all over the US, we are now trying to raise money to replace the computers and technology tools we have lost. We would love your help and be forever grateful. Please support us!
