Dion Goutermont

Recently Dion was not feeling well and was short of breath. Heidi brought him to the emergency room where from there he was admitted to Essentia ICU. This is where they found out that he had a hole in his aortic valve which would require open heart surgery.
Wednesday August 29th Dion will be transported down to the University of Minnesota where they will perform his open heart surgery to replace his aortic valve. After his surgery, Dion will remain in the hospital for recovery and therapy. Once he is able to go home, he will be unable to perform daily tasks or even go back to work for many months.
During this process, I hope to give updates on Dion's condition when possible.
